The following holidays shall be observed in each Polytechnic:-

Number of Days

(a) All Saturdays                                                            52

(b) All Sundays                                                               52

The institution will observe the same holidays as are notified by the State Government from time to time.

Note:

(i) In addition there are three holidays kept at the discretion of the Principal of the Institution, which shall be granted as when occasion arises. Such occasional holidays as are declared by Punjab Govt. or by the Deputy Commissioner of the district in which the Institution is located from time to time shall be observed in Govt. Polytechnic College, Bathinda
